FAQ - Should I go outside the UK for surgery?
I am not dead against this, but caution should be exercised. If you run into serious problems outside of the UK , you may find it very difficult and expensive to get home! Basically, avoid going too far afield, and only choose this option if you can verify the credentials of the organisation/ surgeon that will be treating you. It also only makes sense if you are making a very substantial financial saving.
